Description

Rogan Josh is a quintessential dish from Kashmiri cuisine, renowned for its rich, aromatic flavors and vibrant red color. Traditionally made with lamb or goat meat, this curry is a celebration of warm spices. Rogan Josh has a rich, full-bodied flavor, with a perfect balance of spicy, savory, and aromatic elements. The dish is typically mild to medium in heat, but its flavor comes from the careful blend of spices and the slow cooking process.  It is distinguished by its use of Kashmiri red chili, which imparts a deep red color without too much heat.

  • Take a pressure cooker and heat 2 tbsp. of ghee and add 1200g of mutton, then sauté for 3-5 minutes.
  • Add half a portion of Cookmaid Rogan Josh, 480ml of water, and mix well, then close the lid and cook until the meat is cooked.
  • Reduce the flame, add the remaining portion of gravy, mix well, and cook until the gravy is thick.
  • Serve hot.

* Add salt if required.
Add green chilli to make it spicy.
