Description

Pepper roast is a South Indian dish characterized by its bold, Peppery flavours and aromatic spices. Typically made with meat or vegetables (such as chicken, lamb, duck, egg or potatoes), it’s best made by marinating the main ingredient in a blend of crushed black peppercorns, garlic and ginger. The marinated item is then roasted or stir-fried and coated with a flavourful pepper masala gravy. The dish includes ingredients like onions, curry leaves, and green chilies for additional depth of flavour. Pepper roast is beloved for its fiery kick and robust taste, making it a popular choice in South Indian cuisine.

Cooking Instructions

Heat 4 Tbsp. Oil in a skillet and shallow fry 700g of (chicken/ mushroom/ mutton/duck curry cuts) for 3-5 minutes.
Add Cook maid Pepper Roast Gravy and sauté for 3 minutes
Reduce the flame to low and cook until the meat is fully cooked and the gravy is thick. Add water to maintain desired consistency
Garnish and serve hot.
Add salt if required. Add green chilly to make it spicy.
