Description

Hyderabadi Korma is a rich, royal curry from the historic kitchens of Hyderabad, shaped by the culinary legacy of the Nizams of Hyderabad. Known for its luxurious texture and layered flavors, this dish is a hallmark of Hyderabadi cuisine. The gravy is creamy and aromatic, typically prepared with a base of slow-cooked onions and a paste of cashews which gives it a silky, velvety consistency while ginger, garlic and green chilies add subtle heat without overpowering the richness. Hyderabadi Khorna is ideal to pair with naan, roti, or fragrant rice dishes like pulao or biryani. It’s a comforting yet regal preparation that showcases the elegance of traditional Hyderabadi cooking.

 

  • In a pan, combine half of the Cookmaid Hyderbadi Korma with 300- 350g chicken/mutton curry cuts or veggies, add 150ml water and cook until fully done.
  • Add the remaining Cookmaid Hyderbadi Korma and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Blend in 25g fresh cream and finish cooking.
  • Garnish and serve hot.
